SUMMARY:

As an employee of Rippin’ Bowls, you will work in an environment inspired by surf, skate and snow culture. You will be part of cultivating a culture that mimics the fun food and atmosphere of Rippin’ Bowls. In the dishwasher position, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen and orderly workspace, assisting in food storage and preparation, and maintaining trash cans throughout the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a clean kitchen and sort soiled dishes
• Prep foods as needed 
• Set up dish stations and maintain cleanliness as determined by business levels
• Maintain clean and dry floors 
• Properly wash, stack and sort all dishware and storage containers
• Assist in storing food deliveries and organization of food storage 
• Maintain trash cans, boxes and other waste 
• Assist in other duties as requested by management
• Collaborate with other staff and management 
• Detail-oriented attention to cleanliness and safety 
• Excellent people skills and friendly attitude 
• Patience and customer-oriented approach

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Growth-forward mindset 
• Food Handlers Card acquired within 1 week of employment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position will require long periods of standing on hard surfaces. There is also likely to be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required.
